SERGE DE SAMPIGNY
DIRECTOR
A graduate of the IEP in Paris, Serge de Sampigny has made documentaries for France Télévisions and a number of foreign channels. He is the author of Pétain, un héros si populaire, En France à l’heure allemande, Ils ont libéré Paris, Verdun, ils ne passeront pas and Mussolini, le premier fasciste and Franco, le dernier dictateur. He has published an essay, Dans la tête des SS, and a book of interviews with Marc Ferro: Pétain, les leçons de l’histoire.

Patrice d’Ollone
COMPOSER
A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and holder of a CAPES in classics, Patrice d’Ollone was artistic delegate of the Orchestre National de France (ONF) from 1990 to 2002, when Charles Dutoit was its musical director. Trained as a pianist and the grandson of composer Max d’Ollone, he has devoted himself since the 1970s to performing and recording little-known works of French music.

Thibault Perrine
ORCHESTRATEUR
Thibault Perrine is a composer and teaches counterpoint at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) and composition and arranging at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris (CRR) and the Pôle supérieur Paris-Boulogne-Billancourt. He orchestrated the two Suite Verdun and Dans la tête des SS composed by Patrice d’Ollone.

Orchestre de la Garde républicaine
Founded in 1848, the Orchestre de la Garde républicaine is one of the oldest orchestras in the world. Its history is closely linked to French music, in particular to Camille Saint-Saëns and Maurice Ravel, who conducted their own works. It has 120 musicians, mainly graduates of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique. It has been featured in a number of musical seasons, festivals and international competitions. On 13 January 2023, it premiered the film-concert ‘D’une guerre l’autre, 1914-1945’ at the Grand Rex.

Bastien STILL
ORCHESTRA CONDUCTOR
Bastien Stil took up his post as Artistic and Musical Director of the of the Orchestre de la Garde républicaine in September 2024. His repertoire ranges from the classical to the and avant-garde repertoire, and likes to set up projects where musical genres. A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire in 2010, after a rich career as an instrumentalist, that he decided to devote himself to conducting.

Sébastien Billard
ORCHESTRA CONDUCTOR
After studying the clarinet in Rouen, Sébastien Billard
trained at the Paris Conservatoire, where he was awarded a
first prize in orchestral conducting. Having continued his
training with Myung Whun Chung, he joined the Garde
Garde républicaine in 1997 as assistant conductor.
assistant conductor. Since then, he has conducted a wide repertoire with the greatest international soloists. Sébastien Billard will conduct the film-concert, alternating with Bastien Stil.

Marilou Aussilloux entered the Paris Conservatoire in 2015. She has worked with Albert Dupontel, Jean Louis Martinelli, Laurent Gaudé and Cédric Klapisch. She has recently appeared in several feature films (‘Sous le tapis’, and ‘Ne regarde pas’). In 2024, she played in Robert Guédiguian’s La pie voleuse. She also played in ‘Seule comme Marra’, at the Théâtre de l’Athénée, and in ‘Terrasses’, by Laurent Gaudé at the Théâtre de la Colline.

Julien FRISON

Born in Belgium, Julien Frison joined the Comédie Française
Comédie Française at the age of 22, and has just been appointed a
a member of the board. A precocious actor, he made his film debut in 2006 in the film ‘Odette tout le monde’, followed by a string of
roles in the films “Un ange à la mer”, ‘Rondo’ (2009), “The Canterville Ghost” (2016), ’La nuit du 12’ (2021), “Le théorème de Marguerite” (2022).
In 2023, he joins Romain Duris and Vincent Cassel in the famous
saga ‘The Three Musketeers’.

Edouard de Dreuzy
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
A graduate of EDHEC, Edouard de Dreuzy is an entrepreneur in the publishing, media and web sectors. In 2003, he set up Goyave Edition to design, publish and distribute cultural products for press titles. In particular, he has distributed reference documentary series on history, cinema and music, covering the classical, jazz and French chanson repertoires.
